London Hilton On Park Lane

Park Lane, London

This 28-floor, 450-room hotel on Hyde Park Corner is a London landmark. Built in 1963 and the venue for many historic encounters – it was here that the Beatles’ first met Maharishi Mahesh Yogi – the hotel has always sought to be at the forefront of business accommodation in London.

LHL was given the brief to refurbish the Executive Rooms: to enhance the experience for today’s business traveller and make the most of the extraordinary views across Hyde Park and west London.

Working with two colour schemes of taupe with accents of green and blue, with organic patterned wallcoverings and a custom Axminster carpet, we created a light, airy, contemporary atmosphere. New window seats invite guests to enjoy the panoramic view and footstools offer extra comfort. New desks and work areas, eye-level bar facilities and wardrobes with separate luggage compartments all add an extra level of convenience.

The bathrooms we made more inviting with warm, classic ivory tiling, extending each one to create a walk-in shower, and installing new double-ended bathtubs and vanity washstands with mirrors lit halo-style.
