On the river Rhine overlooking the Cathedral Hyatt Regency Cologne is situated in a central location and is a popular destination hotel. LHL have been commissioned to update and refurbish the Public Areas, including Lobby, Residence Club, Legends Bar & Main Restaurant.

LHL enhanced these areas, addressing the space planning and activated the spaces. Within the lobby the existing central fountain was removed to create more circulation and seating space under the amazing iconic staircase which has been made over in a contemporary style with statement glass balustrade and black granite and lacquer cladding. The lobby is casual and inviting, understated with areas to relax, work or meet.

The restaurant carries the same style and ambience with designated cooking tables and buffet areas all custom designed. The meeting rooms off the main restaurant have also been opened up with balconies, feature fireplaces, along with herringbone timber floors and contemporary canvas art pieces.

Legends Bar is a popular and famous bar renowned for rock and roll! LHL along with Hyatt curated iconic images of rock stars as our theme for the artwork. The bar itself is cosy yet glamorous with sparking hand made glass mosaics for the bar backdrop, and crystal suspension lamps.
